Faith Christian School successfully implements Standards- Based Assessment

The Asian Psychological Services and Assessment (APSA) congratulates Faith Christian School on its 37th Founding Anniversary.

For many years, Faith Christian School (FCS) has continuously raised the bar of excellence in assessing student achievement through the use of excellent and focused assessment technologies. A premier Christian school that provides Christ-centered environment of academic excellence, FCS has partnered with APSA in evaluating student achievement through its Standards-Based Assessment (SBA). The SBA measures proficiency of students based on the required standards for specific grade levels. FCS students from Preschool to Grades 12 are able to take the online SBA using the state-of the-art technology.

Results of the assessment not only provides feedback to students on how well they are prepared to move to a higher level, but results also help teachers , and the school identify areas of strengths and developmental areas which consequently provide valuable information for the improvement of school’s curriculum or instruction. Moreover, parents can also guide their children in addressing learning gaps and reinforcing strengths of their children.
