Hon. Risa Hontiveros keynotes the 2022 School Counselors Circle Annual Convention

We are pleased to inform you that the School Counselors’ Circle of the Philippines (SCCP), in partnership with the Asian Psychological Services and Assessment Corporation (APSA), will be holding its 20th Annual Convention April 28-29, 2022 via Zoom. The theme for this year’s convention is “Strengthening the Role of School Counselors and Mental Health Practitioners in the Changing Normal.”

Relevant and up-to–date lectures and workshops will be conducted by leading professionals to strengthen the skills and competencies of school counselors and other mental health professionals in addressing current issues in school counseling. These include:

• Challenges, Opportunities of the Counseling Profession in the Changing Normal
• School Counselors' Role in Developing Students' Social and Emotional Learning
• Helping Students Cope with Uncertain Times
• Strengthening Mental Health Programs and Policies in the Workplace
• Utilizing SEL and School Climate Survey: The Southville Experience
• Seminar-Workshop:
  • Telecounseling Practices: Diving inside the Changing Normal

Presentation of research papers will also be held in the afternoon of the second day of the convention.
