A comprehensive test to assess the potential of students to do Senior High School work. Based on their performance in the Achievement, Aptitude and Interest and Study Habits Test, a student is guided to what academic strand he/she is best suited for.


The following strands are:

    • Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS)
    • General Academic Strand (GAS)
  2. Arts and Design Track
  3. Sports Track

    • Home Economics
    • Information and Communications Technology
    • Industrial Arts
    • Agri-Fishery


Additionally, student is asked his/her preference track prior to taking the test. This is to determine whether student's preference indeed "converge" with his/her inherent traits, abilities, skills, interests and study habits.
