57 STUDENTS RECOGNIZED FOR EXCELLENCE IN MATH
Every year, APSA recognizes students who are able to get the highest mean scaled ability score in the Standards-Based Assessment for Math. Last SY 2011-2012, a total of 57 students out of 92,279 (.06%) students who took APSA’s Standards- Based Assessment (SBA) obtained the highest mean scaled ability score in Math.
The awarding ceremony was held last February 27-28, 2013 at the CSB Hotel International Conference Center, Malate, Manila as part of the culminating activity during the Annual Convention of the Math Circle of the Philippines.
APSA Chairman and CEO Dr. Leticia Asuzano awarded the gold medals to the students. The ceremony was also attended by the parents, teachers, principals and other school representatives. (Click to view the list of awardees)
